Your hero story starts here.

Do you have a heart for children, a love for superheroes, and a desire to make a difference? Whether you’re called to suit up as a Hero or Tactical Field Agent, support as the hands that make it happen, or capture the magic behind the lens—we need you on the mission!

At Heroes Chasing Hope, every volunteer plays a vital role in bringing smiles, joy, and encouragement to children facing life’s hardest battles. This is more than costuming.

It’s ministry.

It’s healing.

It’s hope in action.

Some of The Ways You Can Serve

Costumed Hero

Dress up as a superhero and interact with children at missions and events. Requires training and costume approval.

Tactical Field Agent (Support Staff)

Assist with logistics, crowd engagement, props, and mission flow—often in tactical-inspired attire. All roles interacting with children will have this look to keep the atmosphere complete.

Photographer

Capture magical moments using professional or polaroid cameras. Training and background in photography preferred. All roles interacting with children will have tactical-inspired attire to keep the atmosphere complete.

Media/Editing Team

Help us tell our story through video editing, photo processing, and social media content. Remote roles available.

Creative Support

Costume builders, prop-makers, designers—bring your talents behind the scenes to elevate our missions.

Prayer & Encouragement Team

For those gifted in encouragement and faith, provide spiritual support before, during, or after missions to those we serve and also for our teams on missions.

“The first time I suited up as Spider-Man and saw a child forget their pain—even for a moment—I realized this was more than a mission… it was a calling. This is where joy meets purpose.”

— Daniel Tesenair III, Mandalorian / Spider-Man

“You don’t have to wear a cape to be a hero. Serving on the board lets me help build the foundation so our team can shine in the spotlight. Strategy, structure, and faith—those are my tools to help make the mission unstoppable.”
