At Heroes Chasing Hope, we believe that even in life’s darkest battles, hope still shines. As a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we bring joy, encouragement, and superhero fun to children and families walking through some of life’s most difficult seasons—terminal illness, trauma, foster care, special needs, and more.

Our team of trained volunteers—dressed as beloved superheroes and supported by field agents—visits hospitals, schools, and community events to bring smiles, gifts, uplifting moments, and most importantly… hope.

Hope Has a Hero

Superhero Visits

Our volunteer heroes dress in high-quality costumes and bring life to the characters children admire most. Whether it’s Captain America, Spider-Man, or Black Panther, our heroes are ready to serve.

We don’t just show up—we speak life. Our volunteers are trained to gently offer encouragement, prayer, and words of hope rooted in love and faith.

Toys, Photos, & Gifts

Every visit includes meaningful takeaways—custom superhero posters, toys, and more—creating memories that last long after we leave.

Real Heroes.

Founder & President

Daniel Harris founded Heroes Chasing Hope after experiencing a life-changing moment while dressed as Captain America at a Relay for Life event in college. Asked to appear during the Red-White-&-Blue Hour, Daniel saw firsthand the pure joy his costume brought to children battling cancer and the gratitude expressed by their families. That moment awakened a calling in his heart—to use his passion for superheroes and his deep faith in Christ to bring light into the lives of hurting children.

Over time, Daniel connected with like-minded friends from church who shared the same dream. Realizing no existing group captured the vision they felt called to pursue, they decided to create one. Together, they launched Heroes Chasing Hope—a faith-based nonprofit where heroes suit up to bring joy, encouragement, and messages of hope to children and families facing terminal illness, trauma, foster care, and more.

Daniel continues to serve as a guiding force, blending spiritual leadership, heroic character, and unwavering compassion into every mission.
